There is no trading fees to buy or sell on Flipspot, the platform is 100% completely free.

Flipspot provides a free platform where buyers can submit real-time bids, and sellers are instantly matched to the highest market price.

Users around the world can buy and sell electronics and textbooks. However, at this moment, textbooks is only supported by the dollar currency (e.g NZD, USD, AUD)

You can sign-up by clicking on “register on the top right of the webpage. You can Register with Google or Facebook, or sign up via email.

The buy and sell pages have been designed to ensure users are guided and supported at every step of the trading process. You will find an interactive help column on the right hand side for more information about each individual step

The fire icon lets you know if they’re active buyers or sellers available for your selected item.

No, Flipspot only matches you with potential users within the same Country. So if you're searching from Austraila, you cannot be matched to people outside of Australia.

You can report another user (e.g due to scamming, harassment or threats) directly via our email address, help@flipspot.com. Emails will generally be actioned within the same business day.

You can reset your password by clicking on “Login” on the top right corner, and then selecting “Forgot my password.”

You can change your information by clicking on your user profile image on the top right corner to open the control panel, and then clicking on edit settings.

Buyers are required to set a maximum budget for each trade on Flipspot. Flipspot may match you to sellers lower than the set budget, as the system will automatically negotiate the best price on your behalf.

Once you have been matched with a seller, a chat will be unlocked, and you can finalise a time to exchange and pay for the product.

Sellers on Flipspot won’t need to advertise a price, as the platform will instantly match them to the highest buyer at that point in time. If the seller is unsatisfied with the highest market price, they have the added flexibility of setting a minimum price, which will be saved for future potential matches

Flipspot will be launching the Android APK and Apple IOS application in the coming months. Please like our Facebook page to be notified as we get closer to the app launch date.

Flipspot believes that buyers and sellers should be well informed before initiating a trade. We provide transparent information visually and historically to help users understand how much a product is currently worth.

Flipspot currently doesn’t provide a payment platform/gateway between buyers and sellers. The system is built to simply match buyers with sellers while calculating the best market price.

There are many features built into the chat platform. These include audio/video calls, typing indicators and read receipts, location sharing and sticker galleries.
